Sandro expands resale platform Secondhand to the U.S.

We are proud to partner with Sandro to bring their highly successful resale platform Secondhand—which launched earlier this year in France and Germany—to the United States.

Since 1984, Sandro's creative teams have designed ready-to-wear and accessories that combine elegance and casualness while expressing a certain idea of the Parisian allure. Aware that the durability of the collections goes beyond the season for which they are made, and with a desire to play a leading role in environmental responsibility in the fashion community, Secondhand encourages the brand’s enthusiasts to keep items in wear longer.

How it works

Within the marketplace, sellers can resell their pre-loved Sandro clothing and accessories and redeem their earnings in the form of cash back or a discount code to use towards their next online purchase. Buyers can snag sought after pieces from previous seasons, and purchase from the Parisian brand at a discounted price.

Commitment to Sustainability

From the purchase of raw materials through manufacturing, transport and distribution, Sandro is committed at every stage of the product's life to be more environmentally conscious throughout the production process. To date, nearly 50% of Sandro's designs are eco-responsible, and they have set a goal to ensure 70% of their collections are eco-responsible by 2025. We are proud to support the brand’s ambitions to encourage circularity and reduce their environmental footprint.

"Sandro is happy to announce the expansion of our re-sale platform in the US, powered by Archive. After a successful launch in France and Germany, it was evident we needed to bring this to our US customers. Sustainability is a key strategy point for the brand; from the beginning Archive was a true partner helping to build an authentic experience to launch this platform as we reaffirm our effort towards this commitment."
