Oscar de la Renta has unveiled its largest Encore drop to date. This unique collection features 50 pieces spanning 15 years of Oscar de la Renta designs, showcasing the designer's enduring craftsmanship and attention to detail.
This new drop is significant not just for its size, but also for its breadth. All items in this collection were commissioned from a single, long-time Oscar de la Renta collector. The pieces date back to 2005 and offer a unique look at the evolution of the designer's styles over the years. From intricate embroidery to timeless silhouettes, the collection captures Oscar de la Renta’s consistent commitment to quality and detail.
Among the glittering array of vintage dresses in this drop is a show-stopping replica of the gown Sarah Jessica Parker donned for the 2014 Met Gala. This iconic piece will be available for auction on the Encore platform, powered by Archive's auction functionality. A percentage of the proceeds from the sale will go towards the Jefferson Market at New York Public Library.
Oscar de la Renta partnered with Archive to launch their resale program in 2021. The platform is designed to promote circularity within the luxury fashion sector. Archive built the Encore program to seamlessly integrate with the brand’s existing mainline operations.
